  • When does a quilt become more than a collection of fabric and stitches?   When it chronicles a family’s stories of human love and sadness.  Diane M. Shink, home economist, Montreal quilt appraiser, collector and author will tell tales about the significance of quilting in our family history on Friday April 25th, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  This is the kick-off for the 2014 AHEA Conference in Calgary, April 25th and 26th  - Families: The Ties that Bind. Watch for registration information in early March.
