Tuesday, November 24, 2026

5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Human Ecology Building

Corner of 89 Ave & 116 St

University of Alberta North Campus

Program

5:30 pm  - 6:30 pm | Networking, guided tour, and Q&A

This exhibit invites viewers to dive into the stories told by the objects and spaces illuminated or hidden to others.  In the daily art of getting dressed we navigate the politics of our bodies, in which we unintentionally blend influences.  Through this process, we negotiate a private dressing sequence culminating in a public appearance.  As the light falls upon us the careful negotiation of our public and private selves begins.  Everyone is welcome.

There will be a guided tour led by the curator, Dr. Megan Strickfaden, followed by a Q&A.

Please bring your mug or water bottle.

This event is eligible for Professional Development Units (PDUs) as part of the mandatory AHEA Continuing Competency Program for Professional members.  Professional AHEA members will receive confirmation of attendance after the event with the number of PDUs for their records.
