Willow will be demonstrating Shibori: Shibori is a Japanese method of dying textiles for clothing or home décor. Through techniques such as binding, clamping, folding, capping, stitching, and pole wrapping the Japanese were able to create intricate levels of design and texture on their textiles. This class will focus on three techniques including folding, clamping and pole winding to create unique silk scarves.
