AHEA member and HECOL graduate student, Laura Fuchs Armstrong will be presenting an hour long webinar discussing the essential skill of self regulation.
Laura (Fuchs) Armstrong, a recipient of the 2017 Child Development Professional Awards of Excellence, has been working with children and their caregivers as an Early Childhood Educator for over a decade. She holds a Child and Youth Care degree, and is currently focusing on self-regulation as part of her graduate student research. Laura finds sharing information as a workshop facilitator to be one of the most rewarding aspects of her career.
During the webinar, Laura will discuss the many benefits to work, relationships, and life satisfaction that self-regulation provides. Though some are born with innate abilities to self-regulate, others may have to learn and practice this valuable skill – and together we will explore how to begin. Detailed examination of what self-regulation looks like, and why it is important, will be examined as we uncover how this essential skill can improve our lives and the lives of those around us.
