Ms. Dowdeswell's remarks will survey some of the key issues facing society and share insights from a rich and full career that point the way to ensuring a sustainable and equitable world for all.
Elizabeth Dowdeswell is a leading international figure in environmental advocacy with extensive public service experience that spans provincial, federal and international borders. She is a former Executive Director of the U.N.'s Environment Program, and a has a BSc Home Ec from the University of Saskatchewan and an MSc from Utah State University. Join us both before and after the lecture as Edmonton Branch will host an event in the atrium of the Telus Centre with displays from various employers of human ecologists, home economists, AHEA and Edmonton Branch, HESA and student projects.
